Youssef Chermiti was the unexpected Old Firm hero as Rangers completed a superb second-half comeback to defeat Celtic 3-1 in the Scottish Premiership at Parkhead.
An outstanding individual goal from Yang Hyun-Jun (13) put Celtic into the lead early on. However, Chermiti’s quickfire brace (50, 59) in the second 45 turned the game on its head, before Mikey Moore (71) completed the turnaround by grabbing a richly deserved third.
The result means Rangers move level on points with Celtic in second, and three points behind table-topping Hearts, who face Livingston later on Saturday afternoon.
Here’s how The Scotsman rated the performance of each player as Rangers beat Celtic 3-1 at Parkhead.

9. Yang Hyun-Jun (Celtic) - 7
A quiet opening 15 minutes exploded into life when his fine individual goal sent Parkhead into raptures. Had his critics, but it was a real picture-book moment for the South Korean, although few will want to remember it after Celtic's capitulation. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group

10. Jayden Meghoma (Rangers) - 6
Clearly adept offensively, he struggled defensively, with Celtic finding plenty joy down the left-hand side in the opening stages of the game. Kept going though, and did show improvement as the game wore on. | PA Photo: PA

11. Callum McGregor (Celtic) - 5
Not as influential as he usually is in these games. Poor performance from the captain. | PA Photo: PA

12. Connor Barron (Rangers) - 8
Tackled, harried, and battled all afternoon long. Took Rangers' set-pieces in place of Tavernier, and wasted far too many of them, though. Outside of that, superb all-action display from a player who is growing in influence in this team week by week. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group
