Youssef Chermiti was the unexpected Old Firm hero as Rangers completed a superb second-half comeback to defeat Celtic 3-1 in the Scottish Premiership at Parkhead.
An outstanding individual goal from Yang Hyun-Jun (13) put Celtic into the lead early on. However, Chermiti’s quickfire brace (50, 59) in the second 45 turned the game on its head, before Mikey Moore (71) completed the turnaround by grabbing a richly deserved third.
The result means Rangers move level on points with Celtic in second, and three points behind table-topping Hearts, who face Livingston later on Saturday afternoon.
Here’s how The Scotsman rated the performance of each player as Rangers beat Celtic 3-1 at Parkhead.

21. Youssef Chermiti (Rangers) - 9
Had shown signs of improvement in recent weeks, and it came to the fore at Parkhead. His size and physicality troubled the Celtic backline, and he never stopped working. An absolute workhorse that deserved his two goals. From a £8.5million flop to a hero almost overnight. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group

22. Johnny Kenny (Celtic) - 5
Flashed the ball across the ball of the goal after 10 minutes, but there was no one waiting to finish his cross. Saw plenty of openings and worked extremely hard, but was too rash in his decision-making. A bit of a manager's nightmare at times. His missed chances came back to bite hard. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group

23. Rangers subs
Mohamed Diomande - 7 (on a half-time for Aasgaard and made a real difference as Rangers went on to turn the game around). James Tavernier - N/A (Late sub) Bojan Miovski - N/A (Late sub) | SNS Group

24. Celtic subs
Julián Araujo - 5 (Little impact on his debut) Reo Hatate - 5 (Brought on with 15 minutes to play) James Forrest - N/A (Late sub) Shin Yamada - N/A (Late sub) Liam Scales - N/A (Late sub) | SNS Group
