Youssef Chermiti was the unexpected Old Firm hero as Rangers completed a superb second-half comeback to defeat Celtic 3-1 in the Scottish Premiership at Parkhead.
An outstanding individual goal from Yang Hyun-Jun (13) put Celtic into the lead early on. However, Chermiti’s quickfire brace (50, 59) in the second 45 turned the game on its head, before Mikey Moore (71) completed the turnaround by grabbing a richly deserved third.
The result means Rangers move level on points with Celtic in second, and three points behind table-topping Hearts, who face Livingston later on Saturday afternoon.
Here’s how The Scotsman rated the performance of each player as Rangers beat Celtic 3-1 at Parkhead.

5. Auston Trusty (Celtic) - 5
Will be extremely disappointed not to open the scoring when he connected well to Engels' corner. Had to at least hit the target. Crumbled in the second-half. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group

6. Emmanuel Fernandez (Rangers) - 7
A little too laid back in possession, but won the bulk of his duels in the air. Made an acrobatic clearance off the line to stop Celtic from doubling their lead. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group

7. Kieran Tierney (Celtic) - 6
Not impactful enough going forward. Did okay against a tricky customer in Gassama on the right, but Celtic's entire second-half display simply wasn't of a good enough standard. | PA Photo: PA

8. John Souttar (Rangers) - 7
It was a ragged defensive performance from Rangers in the first 45, and he was forced to cover numerous times. A completely different story after the break, though. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group
