Rangers head coach Danny Rohl has taken his side to within three points of league leaders Hearts after winning 12 of his first 15 games in charge of the club - and now he’ll look to strengthen his squad further during the January transfer window.
With the Glasgow giants back in contention for the Scottish Premiership title, they confirmed their first arrival of the window at the weekend, signing Sturm Graz midfielder Tochi Chukwuani for a fee in the region of £4million. Belgian under-21 left-back Tuur Rommens is also thought to be closing in on a move to Ibrox.
Sunderland duo Dan Neil and Romaine Mundle were also linked with the club late last week, with a whole host of names tipped to make moves to Govan less than a fortnight into the winter transfer window, meaning several others could depart as Rangers look to offload some of their fringe stars.
With plenty more work anticipated in the January transfer window, The Scotsman take a look at the 13 players who could depart Rangers this month as the wheels begin to turn in the January transfer window.

5. Nico Raskin - EPL INTEREST?
The Belgian is an integral part of the Rohl's midfield and is feels unlikely that they'll entertain offers for him this January. However, a move can't be 100% ruled out due to rumours of interest from the English Premier League. An unlikely departure, though. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images

6. James Tavernier - CONTRACT RUNNING OUT
Another departure that feels unlikely is that of long-serving skipper Tavernier. However, with just six months left to run on his current deal, a late offers made in the window could change his situation. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group

7. Findlay Curtis - COULD LEAVE ON LOAN
The Rangers youngster has remained in the squad despite reports linking him with a January move, but is thought to be available on loan this month, with the teenager in need of regular senior minutes. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images

8. Bailey Rice - COULD LEAVE
Has been restricted to just one appearance this term due to injury, and has a contract that runs out in the summer. Linked to Aston Villa and Sunderland in December, Rice could depart this summer, with his contract expiring in the summer. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group
