Rangers head coach Danny Rohl has taken his side to within three points of league leaders Hearts after winning 12 of his first 15 games in charge of the club - and now he’ll look to strengthen his squad further during the January transfer window.
With the Glasgow giants back in contention for the Scottish Premiership title, they confirmed their first arrival of the window at the weekend, signing Sturm Graz midfielder Tochi Chukwuani for a fee in the region of £4million. Belgian under-21 left-back Tuur Rommens is also thought to be closing in on a move to Ibrox.
Sunderland duo Dan Neil and Romaine Mundle were also linked with the club late last week, with a whole host of names tipped to make moves to Govan less than a fortnight into the winter transfer window, meaning several others could depart as Rangers look to offload some of their fringe stars.
With plenty more work anticipated in the January transfer window, The Scotsman take a look at the 13 players who could depart Rangers this month as the wheels begin to turn in the January transfer window.

13. John Souttar - IN TALKS OVER A NEW CONTRACT
The Scotland international is currently in talks with the club over a new contract at Ibrox, with his current deal expiring in the summer. An unlikely departure, Souttar is Rangers' most important defender, and they'll want to tie him down as soon as possible. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group

14. Danilo - COULD LEAVE
A £6million signing from Feyenoord three seasons ago, the Brazilian has been derailed by a host of long-term injuries and likely needs a fresh start. Reports say he'll be allowed to leave Ibrox this month if a club makes a suitable offer for him. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images
