Rangers head coach Danny Rohl has taken his side to within three points of league leaders Hearts after winning 12 of his first 15 games in charge of the club - and now he’ll look to strengthen his squad further during the January transfer window.
With the Glasgow giants back in contention for the Scottish Premiership title, they confirmed their first arrival of the window at the weekend, signing Sturm Graz midfielder Tochi Chukwuani for a fee in the region of £4million. Belgian under-21 left-back Tuur Rommens is also thought to be closing in on a move to Ibrox.
Sunderland duo Dan Neil and Romaine Mundle were also linked with the club late last week, with a whole host of names tipped to make moves to Govan less than a fortnight into the winter transfer window, meaning several others could depart as Rangers look to offload some of their fringe stars.
With plenty more work anticipated in the January transfer window, The Scotsman take a look at the 13 players who could depart Rangers this month as the wheels begin to turn in the January transfer window.

1. Joe Rothwell - EXPECTED TO LEAVE
The experienced Englishman has been extremely underwhelming since his arrival from AFC Bournemouth in the summer, and has been strongly linked with an exit this month. 2. Lyall Cameron - EXPECTED TO LEAVE ON LOAN
The youngster has struggled for minutes since his arrival from Dundee on a pre-contract agreement last summer. Rangers are ready to allow him to leave on loan this month. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group

3. Clinton Nsiala - COULD LEAVE
Made surplus to requirements in the summer, the ex-AC Milan defender has made sporadic substitute appearances in recent weeks due to a spate of injuries in defence. Reports say the club will listen to offers for him, with rumoured interest from the Belgian Pro League mooted in recent months. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group

4. Nedim Bajrami - COULD LEAVE
Has shown sparks of quality since his £4.2million signing in September 2024, but it has been all too fleeting. Tipped to leave in the summer, the Albanian fought his way back into contention but suffering a hamstring injury that has curtailed his progress. Feels like he'll be allowed to leave if a suitable offer arises during the January window. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group
