With crews preparing Glasgow to film The Batman: Part II here are all of the road closures in place across the city until the end of September.

Film crews have once again taken over Glasgow with work under way to transform the city for projects including the upcoming Batman sequel.

There are dozens of road closures and restrictions in place across the city until the end of September, with more crews due to arrive next week for productions including for what is thought to be Robert Pattinson’s new superhero film.

A follow up to 2022’s The Batman, which also filmed in Glasgow as did Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises, there are also said to be several other productions filming in the city this summer causing further disruption.

If you are planning travelling in the city in the next two months, here is everything you need to know about Glasgow filming road closures and restrictions.

Batman filming in Glasgow: All of the road closures and restrictions in place during August and September

There will be huge disruption across Glasgow city centre to help accommodate filming, with many roads closed to both vehicles and pedestrians, with some temporary changes to bus and taxi lane restrictions to be enforced as well.

Those affecting pedestrians will be in place during any “action” calls for the safety of all involved.
