The Scottish Premiership is finally back after a 76-day wait, as fans across the country head into the season hoping that it’ll be one to remember for their club.
Several big-name players may have left in the last few weeks, with Daizen Maeda and Elijah Just departing Celtic and Motherwell respectively for big summer moves. However, several big names have arrived.
Celtic have splashed the cash on the Champions League hitmen Camilo Duran and Kasper Hogh from Qarabag and Bodo/Glimt; Lawrence Shankland has made his long-anticipated move to Rangers after four years with Hearts. Here are the latest betting odds for who will win the Scottish Premiership Golden Boot in 2026/27.*

1. Kevin Nisbet (Aberdeen) - 40/1
Has rediscovered his scoring touch at Pittodrie after a disappointing spell at Millwall. Aberdeen will hope to push themselves into the top half of the table this season under Stephen Robinson, and Nisbet will be viewed as the man to shoot them to success. The Scotland international is an outside bet for the Golden Boot, though. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group

2. Simon Murray (Dundee) - 40/1
The veteran striker knows where the net is, but struggled with injuries at points last term. He'll be hugely important to Dundee's chances of success this season, but is not expected to trouble the Golden Boot race too much, according to the bookies' odds. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group
