5. 8th: Aberdeen
Inspired by the city's coat of arms and its iconic leopard motif, the new Aberdeen shirt isn't bad, but it doesn't stand out amongst a very strong set of home kits. Average, but with some nice touches aimed towards the Dons' heritage. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group

6. 7th: Celtic
In Adidas’ defence, you can't really mess with the Celtic hoops; there’s not much flexibility on the design. It's better than last season's home kit, but it's just fairly standard. Nothing to write home about - unlike their green and black vertical striped kit, which is a belter. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group

7. 6th: St Johnstone
This design is really nice, but damaged by its sponsor. Also, why does Slim Shady have anything to do with St Johnstone, anyway? The collar, the pattern in the design, the white trim - all perfect. If this were sponsorless, it would be top three. | St Johnstone FC Photo: St Johnstone FC

8. 5th: Falkirk
In many previous seasons, the O'Neill's navy design could have rated higher. The collar is smart, the white trim helps the navy pop, and that red trim is so well placed. Makes the top five, but narrowly misses out due to some outstanding efforts elsewhere. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group
