Out of the Scottish Cup and six points off the pace in the Scottish Premiership title race, Rangers are facing a second successive season without silverware as they approach the final nine games of the campaign.
Winning just one of their opening seven games under former head coach Russell Martin, his replacement Danny Rohl faced an uphill battle to drag Rangers back into contention for the league title when appointed in October.
Despite taking them to within two points of the summit last month, draws against Motherwell, Livingston and Celtic have proven costly in their quest to wrestle the top spot away from Hearts, with Rohl’s team now in third place.
Set to enter his second transfer window as Ibrox boss this summer, the 36-year-old head coach will be hopeful of adding to his squad as he looks to restore Rangers to their former glories. However, as it so often does, new arrivals will likely see others depart as the club prepares for another summer of change.
With movement anticipated in the summer transfer window, The Scotsman take a look at the 16 players who could leave Rangers at the end of the season:

13. Clinton Nsiala
Made surplus to requirements in the summer, the French centre-back remained at the club beyond the transfer window and made sporadic appearances off the bench before eventually signing for Westerlo on loan in February. On the fringes of the Rangers squad pretty much since he arrived from AC Milan, Nsiala will likely move on this summer. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group

14. Oliver Antman
The Finnish winger has shown flashes of ability, but his impact has been restricted by injury. Signed from Go Ahead Eagles last summer, Antman was linked with a return to the Eredivisie in January and could find himself wanted again in the summer. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images

15. Mikey Moore
A key player for Rangers since signing on loan from Tottenham Hotspur in August, there's no doubting the club's desire to bring the talented teenager back to the club on a similar deal in the summer. However, the decision on whether he returns next season will be reliant on Spurs. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images

16. Djeidi Gassama
Heavily linked with a move away from the club in the last transfer window, the French winger is said to be catching admiring glances from several European clubs. Reports claimed the club rejected a loan-to-buy bid from Monaco. Renewed offers could arrive for Gassama in the summer. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images
