Scotland ramp up their preparations for this summer’s World Cup as they face the Ivory Coast at Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium on Tuesday night (kick-off: 7.30pm).
While some may find it unusual to see Steve Clarke’s side playing a pre-World Cup friendly away from their home ground of Hampden Park, there are several connections which link Everton and Scotland, such as Scottish architect Archibald Leitch being responsible for designing their cherished old ground, Goodison Park.
Several big-name Scottish players have represented the Toffees, with the likes of Richard Gough, Graeme Sharp and most recently Nathan Patterson all donning the royal blue of Everton in the last couple of decades. But who are the last 10 Scotland internationals to receive caps whilst playing for Everton?
Ranked in order from newest to oldest, here are Everton’s last 10 Scottish internationals:

1. Nathan Patterson
The full-back could reach a quarter of a century of caps if he makes an appearance for Scotland against Ivory Coast at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Tuesday. 2. Steven Naismith
The former Everton striker will be in the dugout when Scotland take on Ivory Coast at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Tuesday as part of Steve Clarke's coaching staff. He spent four years with the club between the years of 2012 and 2016, picking up 26 of his 51 caps for Scotland during his time on Merseyside. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images

3. James McFadden
A bona fide Scottish cult hero, 'Faddy' is best known for his breath-taking goal that sealed a memorable 1-0 win over France in Paris. Handed his international debut by Berti Vogts as a 19-year-old, he played over 100 times for Everton after joining them from Motherwell in 2003, winning the bulk of his 48 caps during his time with the Toffees. | AFP via Getty Images Photo: Getty Images

4. Gary Naysmith
Signed by Walter Smith from Hearts for a fee of £1.75million at the turn of the Millennium, Naysmith's impressive early appearances at Goodison Park saw him jokingly landed comparisons to Brazil left-back Roberto Carlos. He made 32 of his 46 international appearances during him time with Everton. Currently doing a sterling job as head coach of Stenhousemuir in League One. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images
