Celtic have endured a turbulent campaign so far, but are finally back on the up after the re-appointment of veteran manager Martin O’Neill in January.
The 73-year-old has been drafted in to save the club twice, firstly as an interim replacement for Brendan Rodgers, before he returned to the helm when the appointment of Wilfried Nancy went pear-shaped at the turn of the year.
After taking the reins until the end of the campaign, he recruited Tomas Cvancara, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Junior Adamu, Joel Mvuka, and Benjamin Arthur in the winter transfer window and is now within three points of the Scottish Premiership summit. The arrival of those new faces meant that several players departed the club in the January window, with Tobi Oluwayemi, Stephen Welsh, and Johnny Kenny all completing exits in the last month.
Here we look at the 13 Celtic players who are currently on loan away from the club, and assess how they have done for their new teams this season. Who has impressed away from Parkhead - and who is perhaps regretting their decision to leave?

1. Hayato Inamura - Tokyo FC
The Japanese centre-back returned to his homeland after failing to impress in his first six months in Scotland. Has started Tokyo's first two J-League games this season, playing the full 90 minutes in both as the capital side drew both of their opening fixtures 1-1. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group

2. Jude Bonnar - Ayr United
One of many young Celts to move out on loan in the summer, the 20-year-old midfielder has featured regularly in the Championship, making 23 league appearances. However, with only seven of those coming as starts, Bonnar will be hoping to make a bigger impact in the final third of the campaign. | SNS Group

3. Maik Nawrocki - Hannover 96
The Swedish international moved to the 2. Bundesliga in the summer after falling down the pecking order at Celtic, and flourished at the Heinz von Heiden-Arena. After struggling to break into the side originally, Nawrocki has become a mainstay in the centre of defence and racked up some impressive stats. He has three assists for his new side and has made more defensive contributions than 93% of other defenders in the league. Currently in fourth position and just two points behind Schalke at the top of the table, the defender will be hoping he can lead his new side to promotion to the top tier. | Getty Images

4. Kyle Ure - Ayr United
Tipped to be a potential future Celtic captain by former Hoops head coach Neil Lennon last year, the 20-year-old joined teammate Jude Bonnar in moving to Ayr United on loan in the summer. He has made 11 starts this season and features regularly for Scott Brown's side. | Getty Images
