Michelin-acclaimed Skye restaurant and island distillery launch Distillers Table Experience
A Michelin-acclaimed Skye restaurant and the island’s oldest distillery have launched an exclusive ‘Distillers Table Experience’ series.
The Three Chimneys and Talisker came together for the first time in 2024 to create ‘The Three Chimneys at Talisker’ pop-up restaurant at the distillery in Carbost.
Just two years later, The Three Chimneys and Talisker are now leading the rise of the gastro-distillery on the island with an intimate series of evening experiences for up to 16 guests, which have been designed to bring together whisky, food and the unique atmosphere of Skye.
The ‘Distillers Table Experience’ begins at 4.45pm with a welcome cocktail, followed by an exclusive guided tour of the distillery, where guests will learn more about the rich history and craftsmanship behind the oldest working distillery on the island.
The special event series includes a crafted whisky tasting in Talisker’s atmospheric Cask Draw Room and concludes with a multi-course dinner at The Three Chimneys at Talisker overlooking Loch Harport.
The menu is a seasonal tasting experience built around the best local ingredients, with each course introduced by head chef Paul Green and his team.

Since opening its doors, The Three Chimneys at Talisker has quickly established its reputation as a world-class food and travel destination.
Earlier this year, the restaurant earned its place in the Michelin Guide for Great Britain and Ireland, following in the footsteps of The Three Chimneys at Loch Dunvegan - Skye’s most established and pioneering destination restaurant.
The Michelin inspectors had this to say about The Three Chimneys at Talisker: “This restaurant on the western side of the island has an enviable location in more ways than one. Firstly, it’s on the edge of Loch Harport and comes with glorious views, and secondly, it’s right by the Talisker distillery – making a pre- or post-lunch tour a must for whisky enthusiasts.
“With Skye’s waters offering so much super produce, it’s no surprise to see plenty of seafood on the menu, but also expect meat dishes from local venison to traditional haggis, neeps and tatties. Talisker whisky is of course a feature and you can even have a wee dram poured over your oysters.”
At the new dining experience, the team at the Three Chimneys at Talisker invites guests to fully immerse themselves in the rugged coastal landscape of Skye, through locally sourced food and drink and a shared commitment to local growers, crofters, producers and craftspeople on Skye.
Inspiration for the menus is taken from Talisker Distillery’s unique location on the Minginish peninsula and an air that is filled with the salt and spray of the sea. Dishes complement the maritime character of Talisker with its notes of smoke, spice, peat, salt and pepper.
Whisky Magazine has already reported that The Three Chimneys at Talisker collaboration “provides a blueprint for success that other distilleries should take note of” and global travel guide Lonely Planet has named Skye one of the ‘best epicurean regions’ in Europe, alongside Tuscany, Piedmont, and Copenhagen.
The ‘Distillers Table Experience’ - taking place on 13 June and 4 July 2026 - is priced at £225 per person, including a welcome cocktail, distillery tour, whisky tasting and multi-course dinner. To enhance the meal, an optional wine flight is available, carefully selected to complement each dish at an additional cost.
