After what is probably the greatest political comeback in American history, Donald Trump has moved into the White House for the second time.
President Trump’s second inauguration took place on Monday, January 20, weeks after his landslide win over Kamala Harris, who attended the ceremony with outgoing President Joe Biden.
The new Leader of the Free World, whose mother comes from Scotland and who owns two Scottish golf courses, made many promises to his supporters on the campaign trail.
And he’s started to deliver on day one, signing a slew of executive orders which indicate the direction he will be taking over the next four years.
Here are 15 of the main ones - and what they mean for America and the world.

5. Pulling out of the Paris Climate Agreement
President Trump and his supporters have traditionally been sceptical about matters relating to global warming. When he was last elected in 2017 he pulled the USA out of the Paris Climate Agreement, an agreement that saw 195 countries sign up to try and keep the rise in global surface temperature to 1.5C above pre-industrial levels. President Biden swiftly signed back up to it when he defeated Trump, who has now exited for a second time. | Getty Images

6. Rename the Gulf of Mexico and Mount Denali
In a somewhat leftfield move President Trump has ordered that the Gulf of Mexico - the body of water created by the USA to the north, Mexico to the south and Cuba to the east - be renamed the Gulf of America. It should be noted, however, that the rest of the world can continue to call it whatever they like. In a move presumably designed as an 'anti-woke' measure, he's also ordered that Alaska’s Mount Denali returns to its former name of Mount McKinley, named after a former president. Barack Obama changed the name in 2015 as it was the title preferred by Alaska Natives. | Getty Images

7. Fewer offshore wind farms
The President was famously critical of the Scottish Governent creating offshore wind farms off the coast of his Aberdeenshire golf course and country club. He's continuing to clamp down on them in his own country, ordering the leasing of federal waters for offshore wind farms to be stopped with immediate effect. | Getty Images

8. Calling time on birthright citizenship
The 14th amendment guarantees American citizenship to anybody born on US soil, no matter the legal status of their parents. President Trump has now ordered that this comes to an end in a month's time. Likely to be subject to legal challenges, it would mean that children of immigrants who had entered the country illegally would be forced to leave the country. | Getty Images
