For more than a decade the OVO Hydro has been playing host to a string of the world’s biggest musical talent, from Kylie Minogue to Taylor Swift
And since it’s first concert back in September 30, 2013, the venue has even been the location of landmark events like the MTV Music Video Awards and the Commonwealth Games, along with history-making comedy residences from the likes of Still Game and Kevin Bridges.
And the OVO Hydro isn’t just one of the most popular venues in Scotland, in 2019 it was named the second busiest venue in the world behind Madison Square Garden in New York.
And with so many events lined up in the coming months - from Iron Maiden to Sabrina Carpenter - more than one million people buy tickets for shows at the Hydro each year, bringing huge amounts of money to Glasgow and the Finnieston area.
With the venue now celebrating its eleventh birthday, here are 13 of the biggest names to have played at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro.

5. Taylor Swift
In 2015 Taylor Swift was just a superstar - rather than the megastar she is today. Since then, she's broken records at Murrayfield with some 220,000 fans turning out across three nights, but back then she played just one night at the Hydro... and it was almost impossible to get tickets. 6. Madonna
It's always an event when the Queen of Pop tours, and Scottish fans were delighted when Madonna's Rebel Heart tour stopped off in Glasgow in December 2015. The set wasn't one for casual fans, with nearly half the songs taken from her new album, but there was still room for the likes of 'Material Girl', 'Holiday', 'Like a Prayer' and 'True Blue'. | Getty Images

7. Bette Midler
Stars don't come much bigger than Bette Midler. She made a rare visit to Scotland to play the Hydro in July 2015. Many agreed with The Scotsman's reviews that said it was "as slick and sassy a spectacular as has ever graced the Hydro stage". | Getty Images

8. U2
Few bands embody the idea of stadium rock quite like Irish outfit U2. It meant it was a special couple of evenings for fans when they downsized to play two nights at the Hydro for their Innocence + Experience Tour in 2015. | Getty Images
