From Ibrox Stadium to Arthur’s Seat, here are 10 Scottish tourist attractions with hilarious 1-star reviews on TripAdvisor.

5. National Wallace Monument - Stirling
A national hero deserves a national landmark. For 150 years, The National Wallace Monument has been standing proudly on the Abbey Craig just outside of Stirling. As expected, the bulk of its reviews are hugely positive. However, some are less flattering. One visitor was "severely disappointed by the coloured pencil situation" and claimed they were "initially delighted to find that we had been provided with a lovely crossword and charming colouring page featuring a kilt-clad bear". However, things took a turn for the worse and the visitors were left "exceptionally disappointed by the monument's upkeep of their coloured pencil supplies." The reviewer adding that the lack of decent colouring pencils left their woodland animals in the colouring book looking "bland" and warned future tourists not to have high expectations when it comes to the site's pencil collection, before attaching photos. | AFP via Getty Images

6. Ibrox Stadium Tour - Glasgow
Celtic Park wasn't the only world-renowned football stadium in Glasgow to get the harsh one-star treatment with one reviewer finding the tour a disappointment due to "the guide speaking with a heavy Glaswegian accent." Another was particularly displeased with the "pouring wet and miserable" weather...in Glasgow. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images

7. The Royal Mile - Edinburgh
This one made us giggle. One reviewer was particularly unhappy and claimed it was "just a street full of shops" and that the street - which is pretty big by the way - was "too hard to find". One hilarious review compared it to "Scarborough seafront" and "a disgrace to Scotland" while another asked "how many scarves, hats, gloves and cardigans can one street host!?" 8. Edinburgh Castle Tour - Edinburgh
One of Scotland's most-visited tourist locations, people from all over the globe travel to see it - yet still not everyone seems to like it. While it has overwhelmingly positive reviews, some tourists claimed it was "too wet and windy", while another said the castle "looks the same from outside" and that the tour didn't offer much different to what they could see outside the walls. Another said there was "far too many people" and that they doubt it is even a castle at all, claiming "this is not a castle; it is a collection of outer-buildings." | AFP via Getty Images Photo: Getty Images
