Scotland got their inaugural Nations Championship campaign off to a flying start with a 47-38 win over Argentina at the Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes.
It was far from the perfect performance from Gregor Townsend’s side, with Los Pumas very much on top for periods of the game, but there were lots of positives aside form the result to be thrilled with.
In particular, a new-look back line that was without Finn Russell and Blair Kinghorn were exceptional and showed the kind of fluidity you’d expect from players who had played a lot more Test level rugby together than they had.
Here are our player ratings from Scotland’s win over Argentina:

Another big shift in defence and also crossed over for a try on his 50th appearance with a good support run. | Getty Images

6. Matt Fagerson - 7
Got about the pitch as he always does putting in plenty of work in testing conditions | Getty Images

7. Rory Darge - 7
Didn't stand out as much as he sometimes does but helped the team wrestle back momentum during crucial times and went about his business well | Getty Images

8. Jack Dempsey - 7
Another who had to provide a big defensive effort. Didn't have as much of an impact offensively as he has in previous Tests but still a good shift | AFP via Getty Images
