Scotland were edged out by New Zealand once again after losing 25-17 to the All Blacks in a gripping match at Murrayfield.
Scotland trailed 17-0 at the interval as the visitors - despite having Leroy Carter yellow-carded - threatened to run away with a win after tries from Cam Roigard and Will Jordan.
It was to Scotland’s immense credit that they rallied after the break and the score was pegged back to 17-17 on the hour mark after tries from Ewan Ashman and Kyle Steyn and seven points from Finn Russell.
The All Blacks, however, showed why the are one of the best teams in the world and a try and penalty from replacement Damian McKenzie late on put the game out of Scotland’s reach.
It means Scotland’s wait for a win over New Zealand goes on, with the record now two draws and 31 defeats against the All Blacks.
We give the players a mark out of ten for their performance.

13. Rory Hutchinson
Showed up really well in a rare start at centre. Held up for a try on 35 minutes and carried the ball with true threat. He forged a good partnership with Tuipulotu. 7 | SNS Group / SRU

14. Darcy Graham
A frustrating afternoon for the winger. Always in the thick of it but things just would not fall his way. Held up when close to try on 26 minutes. Took wrong option when last man when trying to take on Clarke. Cynically tripped by Carter on 33 minutes that led to a deserved yellow card. Sold a dummy by Sititi for Jordan's try - poor defending. Denied right in the corner by a great Roigard tackle. 6 | SNS Group / SRU

15. Blair Kinghorn
Couldn't hold on a pass from Graham in a promising position on 14 minutes. Always front and centre of Scotland attacks but will lament not being able to stop the slippery McKenzie for what turned out to be the winning try. 6 | SNS Group / SRU

16. Replacements
Scotland emptied the bench. George Turner, Rory Sutherland, Elliot Millar Mills, Marshall Sykes, Rory Darge, Josh Bayliss, Jamie Dobie and Tom Jordan all appeared. | SNS Group / SRU
