It's been an enthralling season in the Scottish Premiership so far, and with just five games left to play, there are plenty of storylines still to be written.
Can Hearts break the Old Firm’s dominance? One point clear at the top of the table, Rangers and Celtic are still breathing down their neck as we approach the highly anticipated split fixtures. Motherwell and Hibs are still competing for a top-four spot, while St Mirren, Aberdeen, Kilmarnock, and Dundee are all battling to keep their heads above water to avoid a relegation play-off.
There was plenty of excitement across the division when an influx of new names arrived from across the globe. While many of them did work out (as seen here), there were some who can be categorised as major flops. But what were the biggest transfer mistakes made by Scottish Premiership clubs this season?
Here, we look at the 10 worst transfers made Scottish Premiership this season. Do you agree with our picks?

9. Joe Rothwell - Rangers
Brought in to add experience and guile, Rothwell is one of the most forgettable transfers in recent memory at Ibrox. As the club succumbed to their worst league start in decades, he became a lightning rod for criticism. Many fans highlighted a perceived lack of fitness and inability to deal with the physical demands of the Scottish Premiership. Immediately fell out of favour upon the arrival of Danny Rohl in October, and was allowed to sign for Sheffield United on a permanent deal in January. | SNS Group

10. Junior Adamu - Celtic
Another of Celtic's deadline day signings in January, the Austrian had a dream start, scoring deep into stoppage time to help down Dundee in the Scottish Cup. However, there has been a rapid decline since. Anonymous, when offered the chance to start against Rangers in the league last month, Adamu was dragged off at half-time at Ibrox and has played just 15 minutes of football since. Doesn't look like the right fit for the club at all. | SNS Group
