It's been an enthralling season in the Scottish Premiership so far, and with just five games left to play, there are plenty of storylines still to be written.
Can Hearts break the Old Firm’s dominance? One point clear at the top of the table, Rangers and Celtic are still breathing down their neck as we approach the highly anticipated split fixtures. Motherwell and Hibs are still competing for a top-four spot, while St Mirren, Aberdeen, Kilmarnock, and Dundee are all battling to keep their heads above water to avoid a relegation play-off.
There was plenty of excitement across the division when an influx of new names arrived from across the globe. While many of them did work out (as seen here), there were some who can be categorised as major flops. But what were the biggest transfer mistakes made by Scottish Premiership clubs this season?
Here, we look at the 10 worst transfers made Scottish Premiership this season. Do you agree with our picks?

5. Thibault Klidje - Hibs
The club's record signing at £1million from Luzern, it simply didn't click for the Togolese forward. He was offered plenty of opportunities to impress at Easter Road, but found the net just four times in 27 appearances before being allowed to leave on loan to sign for Randers in the Danish top flight, where he's suffered similar struggles. Likely to return to the capital in the summer, Klidje's future is very much up in the air. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group

6. Andreas Skov Olsen - Rangers
One of the most sought-after wingers in Europe during his time at Club Brugge, there was lots of excitement around his arrival when he signed on loan from Wolfsburg in January, but the Dane has not impressed during his time on the pitch. Rangers have closed the gap on league leaders Hearts to just one point, but it's been in spite of Skov Olsen's form rather than because of it. Will need a massive lift in performance if he is to convince Rangers to activate the £8million option to sign him permanently in the summer. | SNS Group

7. Kusini Yengi - Aberdeen
Brought in on a free transfer from Portsmouth in the summer, Yengi had a nightmarish debut for the club in a 2-0 defeat to Hearts on opening day, missing several gilt-edged chances. His form didn't improve, and he was quickly allowed to depart Pittodrie when he signed on loan for J-League side Cezero Osaka in January. | SNS Group

8. Joel Mvuka - Celtic
Bundled in the door at the very last minute on deadline day, the signing of Mvuka from Lorient always felt like a bizarre one. Rumours of a failed medical surfaced just hours after Martin O'Neill hinted a permanent deal was close, only for him to agree a loan deal with time running out. He's barely featured since arriving in Glasgow, though, and his eye-poppingly poor cameo in the penalty shootout win over Rangers in the Scottish Cup quarter-final perhaps evidences why. | SNS Group
