It was a blockbuster summer transfer window for fans of the Scotland national team as a number of Scottish stars departed the United Kingdom in order to complete huge moves to some of Europe’s most prestigious leagues.
Scott McTominay became the most expensive Scottish player of all time when he moved to Napoli for a reported fee of more than £25million, while established international players such as Scott McKenna, Ryan Jack and Liam Cooper all moved abroad for the first time in their careers after their respective contracts with Nottingham Forest, Rangers and Leeds United came to an end.
Here we look at the 16 Scotland internationals who completed summer transfers and assess how they have done for their new teams in the first half of the season.
Who has been the standout performers so far?

5. Ben Doak - Middlesbrough (loan)
Has been extremely impressive on loan at the Riverside Stadium, with his form on the right-wing earning him a regular starting spot in Steve Clarke's Scotland side. One of the first-names on Michael Carrick's team sheet, Doak has six goal contributions from his 15 starts. Currently creating more chances than 91% of other wingers in the EFL Championship, he has carved out a total of 36 chances for Middlesbrough so far this term. | Richard Sellers Photo: Richard Sellers

6. Oli McBurnie - Las Palmas
The ex-Sheffield United man joined former Scotland teammate Scott McKenna in making a surprise move to Gran Canarian outfit in the summer. The switch has been largely positive for the 28-year-old too. While it took him four-months to break his scoring duck for the club, he has been able to offer a valuable contribution in other ways. Has three assists in seven league starts, and has created more chances than 75% of other strikers in La Liga. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images

7. Scott McTominay - Napoli
The Scotland MVP has been a revelation for Serie A side Napoli, where he appears to be worshipped on the terraces. A regular starter in Naples, he has three goals and two assists from his 13 league starts. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images

8. Lyndon Dykes - Birmingham City
Dropped down a division when he left Queens Park Rangers in order to complete a £1million move to big-spending Birmingham City, but has struggled to nail down a starting XI spot in the Midlands. He's yet to score in EFL League One and has played just 382 minutes of league football for the Blues. Has two goals in cup competitions though, finding the net against Fulham under-21s (EFL Trophy) and Blackpool (FA Cup). | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images
