It was a blockbuster summer transfer window for fans of the Scotland national team as a number of Scottish stars departed the United Kingdom in order to complete huge moves to some of Europe’s most prestigious leagues.
Scott McTominay became the most expensive Scottish player of all time when he moved to Napoli for a reported fee of more than £25million, while established international players such as Scott McKenna, Ryan Jack and Liam Cooper all moved abroad for the first time in their careers after their respective contracts with Nottingham Forest, Rangers and Leeds United came to an end.
Here we look at the 16 Scotland internationals who completed summer transfers and assess how they have done for their new teams in the first half of the season.
Who has been the standout performers so far?

13. Tommy Conway - Middlesbrough
Made a £5million move to the promotion-chasing Teessiders in the summer, and has scored a highly-impressive eight goals in 11 starts for the Riverside outfit. Played either upfront or in the 10, the young forward has made a positive impression at his new club with his ability to stiff out a goal. | Stu Forster Photo: Stu Forster

14. Kevin Nisbet - Aberdeen (loan)
After a disappointing spell down south with Millwall, the ex-Hibs goal-getter moved back to Scotland to sign for Aberdeen on loan. Started well and rediscovered his scoring touch at Pittodrie earlier in the season, and scored three goals for the Dons. He currently has just one goal from his last seven appearances though, so will be hoping his dry spell doesn't drag on for too long. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images

15. Connor Barron - Rangers
Started brightly at Ibrox and won a first senior call-up to Steve Clarke's squad on the back of his good early season form. Has lost his place in Philippe Clement's starting XI in recent weeks, but will be pleased with his contribution in the opening half of the season. 16. Liam Kelly - Rangers
Accepted a back-up role with his summer move back to Rangers, and has dropped out of the Scotland squad since Euro 2024. Made his debut for Rangers in the 1-0 win over Dundee on Saturday following Jack Butland's late pull out from the starting XI and was able to keep a clean sheet. | SNS Group / SFA Photo: SNS Group
