Scottish Premiership post-split fixture dates confirmed as decision made on European postponements
Clubs learn post-split fixture dates amid prospect of final day drama
Dates and kick-off times for a potentially dramatic final weekend of the William Hill Premiership season have been confirmed by the Scottish Professional Football League.
One of the most exciting title races in recent years could be decided on the final day with Hearts, Celtic and Rangers battling it out to be crowned 2025-26 champions.
Hearts currently lead Rangers by four points at the top of the table with the Tynecastle side bidding for a historic first title since 1960 which would end a 41-year Old Firm stranglehold. Celtic, who have won 13 of the last 14 championships, are six points off the top with work to do to claim a fifth successive title, but with the benefit of home matches against Hearts and Rangers after the split.
At the other end of the table, Livingston are currently three points behind Kilmarnock in last place with the prospect of a final day relegation decider also on the cards.

The SPFL has confirmed that the final round of top-six matches will take place on Saturday, May 16, with all games kicking off at 12.30pm. Bottom-six games will be played on Sunday, May 17, with kick-off times still to be decided.
The other post-split fixtures take place on the weekends of April 25-26, May 2-3 and May 9-10, and the midweek of May 12-13. Post-split fixtures and broadcast selections will be published following fixture round 33 on the weekend of April 11-12.
Meanwhile, SPFL clubs involved in the play-off round of European competition next season will again be able to postpone their Premiership round three fixture without needing the agreement of their opponents.
An SPFL statement confirmed: "There was unanimous support for the continuation of this policy from the Competitions Working Group, but clubs will be required to confirm their position by Friday July 24 to provide clarity ahead of the 2026/27 season kicking off on the weekend of August 1/2."
SPFL Chief Operating Officer Calum Beattie said: “We are pleased to be able to publish arrangements for the final weekend of the William Hill Premiership season. It promises to be an incredibly exciting run-in and we look forward to watching it all unfold.
“We can also announce a continuation of the round three postponement policy that came into effect this season. This has been welcomed by clubs and, although the fixture calendar remains extremely congested, we want to give our European participants the best possible chance of reaching the league phase of UEFA competitions.”
