Scotland’s Euro 2024 campaign came to a crushing end on Sunday night when they were defeated 1-0 by Hungary in Stuttgart.
As a result, the Scots finish bottom of Group A on one point and despite the Tartan Army being lauded for their support in Germany, the team ultimately failed in its quest to reach the knock-out stages of a major tournament for the first time.
We take a look at how each player - and head coach Steve Clarke - performed during their time in the competition.

13. John McGinn
The Aston Villa man's best moment came in Garmisch-Partenkircken, when he took part in Bavarian dancing. On the pitch, this was a tournament to forget for McGinn, never able to put his stamp on matches. Looked tired after a long season with his club. 4 | Getty Images

14. Kenny McLean
Made substitute appearances in all three matches and was a reliable if unremarkable presence in midfield, although he did switch to left-back late on against Hungary. 3 | PA

15. Stuart Armstrong
His only appearance was against Hungary but he made an impression, striding into the penalty box, only to fall under a challenge from Willi Orban. Scotland believed they ought to have been awarded a penalty, but there was no VAR check. 3 | PA

16. Lewis Morgan
Thrown on for his second Scotland cap in the 89th minute against Hungary as Scotland searched for a winner. n/a | PA
