Deals in the Scottish Premiership and Championship are expected to go right up to the moment the window slams shut, as it naturally does on deadline day. It would likely be even busier if not for the coronavirus pandemic, which has not only impacted finances but forced the postponement of football below the second tier.
But what exactly will teams be doing in the remaining hours?
Clubs will look to England to bolster squads with loan deals, while some will be looking to fend off interest from down south with teams possibly looking to land a bargain from Scotland.
We look at some of the teams who are expected to be active in one way or another and what is likely to happen:

9. Hamilton Academical
A striker. Accies fans are desperate for the club to bring in a forward of some kind to bolster the squad for the relegation battle. Brian Rice could do with a forward who can be a foil for David Moyo or Marios Ogkmpoe. Photo: Alan Harvey - SNS Group

10. Hearts
Robbie Neilson has been open about the fact the club will be hoping to do a bit of business. A winger, midfielder and right-back are on the wanted list, likely in that order of priority. There could also be outs in the shape of Lewis Moore and Loic Damour. Photo: Ross MacDonald - SNS Group

11. Dunfermline Athletic
The Pars have been linked with Craig Wighton from CHampionship rivals Hearts. Stevie Crawford's men have failed to score in their last three league outings. Photo: Ross Parker - SNS Group
