Deals in the Scottish Premiership and Championship are expected to go right up to the moment the window slams shut, as it naturally does on deadline day. It would likely be even busier if not for the coronavirus pandemic, which has not only impacted finances but forced the postponement of football below the second tier.
But what exactly will teams be doing in the remaining hours?
Clubs will look to England to bolster squads with loan deals, while some will be looking to fend off interest from down south with teams possibly looking to land a bargain from Scotland.
We look at some of the teams who are expected to be active in one way or another and what is likely to happen:

5. Dundee United
It would be a surprise if Micky Mellon was to add to his squad, especially with the playing squad having agreed to wage cuts due to the current climate and fans unlikely back in grounds this season. There has been speculation around young defender Lewis Neilson as well as Ryan Edwards. Lawrence Shankland has featured a lot less in gossip columns. Photo: Ross Parker - SNS Group

6. Motherwell
Graham Alexander has added four to his squad so far this window with confirmation from the club’s chief Alan Burrows that they are hoping for another one or two. In addition, Stephen O’Donnell’s contract with the club expired at the end of January. Photo: Ross Parker - SNS Group

7. Kilmarnock
Alex Dyer spoke about doing business before Monday’s window closing after the defeat to St Johnstone. Moments later his departure from the club was announced. A new manager is a priority but Killie’s squad needs freshening up, especially in the final third and full-back areas. Photo: Alan Harvey - SNS Group

8. Ross County
With the club 11th in the table and having sold Ross Stewart for £300,000 it wouldn’t be all that surprising if John Hughes had players lined up to come in and aid their survival hopes. Possibly a versatile forward and full-back. Photo: Rob Casey - SNS Group
