Rangers ended their wait for a win in the Europa League as they defeated Ludogorets 1-0 at Ibrox to record their seventh consecutive victory in all competitions.
In a game of few chances, it was Ivorian midfielder Mohamed Diomande who grabbed the game's only goal on 33 minutes, firing home his second of the season from close range after being teed up by Thelo Aasgaard.
While the victory means little in the way of progression in the tournament, with Danny Rohl’s side out of the competition before they even kicked off in Thursday’s penultimate game against Ludogorets, the German will be relieved to finally chalk a Europa League win on the board after such a tough European campaign.
Attention will turn back to the Scottish Premiership title race at the weekend, with Rangers set to face Steven Pressley’s Dundee at Ibrox on Sunday. Kick-off is at 3pm.
Here’s how The Scotsman rated the performance of each Rangers player in the 1-0 win over Ludogorets at Ibrox:

9. Thelo Aasgaard - 7
Involved plenty, and picked up an assist for the opening goal. His fifth goal contribution in his last seven in all competitions, the Norwegian is beginning to have an impact after a slow start to life at Ibrox. | SNS Group

10. Mikey Moore - 6
Never hides. Always looking to get on the ball, drive forward and ask questions of the Ludogorets defence. Not a lot came off for him, bus his effort and positivity on the ball can't be faulted. Taken off late on. | SNS Group

11. Youssef Chermiti - 6
Missed a good chance when placed through by Raskin, which he should have done better with. That aside, the Portuguese striker was a good physical presence that worked hard to get his fellow attackers in the game. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group

12. Rangers subs:
Bojan Miovski - 5 (took too long when presented a glorious opportunity to add to his goal tally). Findlay Curtis - 6 (Impressive cameo late on, and almost grabbed a stunning long-range goal) | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images
