Rangers ended their wait for a win in the Europa League as they defeated Ludogorets 1-0 at Ibrox to record their seventh consecutive victory in all competitions.
In a game of few chances, it was Ivorian midfielder Mohamed Diomande who grabbed the game's only goal on 33 minutes, firing home his second of the season from close range after being teed up by Thelo Aasgaard.
While the victory means little in the way of progression in the tournament, with Danny Rohl’s side out of the competition before they even kicked off in Thursday’s penultimate game against Ludogorets, the German will be relieved to finally chalk a Europa League win on the board after such a tough European campaign.
Attention will turn back to the Scottish Premiership title race at the weekend, with Rangers set to face Steven Pressley’s Dundee at Ibrox on Sunday. Kick-off is at 3pm.
Here’s how The Scotsman rated the performance of each Rangers player in the 1-0 win over Ludogorets at Ibrox:

5. Jayden Meghoma - 6
Be it on open play or from a short corner, the Brentford loanee's crossing ability to proving to be a real weapon for Rangers. Played a part in the opener and rarely troubled defensively. | Getty Images

6. Nico Raskin - 7
Knitted the team together well, often starting Rangers' attacking plays from the centre of the park. Lovely ball to Chermiti should have resulted in a goal early on, and almost grabbed a goal from distance early in the second-half. | SNS Group

7. Mohamed Diomande - 8
Showed nimble feet in the middle, and took his goal inside the penalty box very well. Has had a bit of an underwhelming season thus far, but looked more like himself tonight and will get a big confidence boost from the fans chanting his name after his opening goal - only his second of the season. | PA Photo: PA

8. Djeidi Gassama - 5
Gets supporters off their feet with his trickery, but his final ball has been equally as frustrating for the Ibrox faithful. And that was the case tonight. | PA Photo: PA
