Rangers will look to close the gap on league leaders Hearts and move into second place in the Scottish Premiership as they welcome managerless Aberdeen to Ibrox this Tuesday (kick-off: 8pm).
Level on points with fierce rivals Celtic after their comfortable 3-1 win over them in Saturday’s crucial Old Firm clash, a brace from Youssef Chermiti and a goal from Mikey Moore means they now only trail the reigning champions on goal difference. The gap to league leaders Heart remains at six points, though.
As for their visitors, the Dons arrive in Glasgow without a win in their last four league matches, and without a manager, after the club opted to sack head coach Jimmy Thelin following the 1-0 weekend defeat to Falkirk.
Ahead of the game at Ibrox, The Scotsman has all the latest team news:

12. James Tavernier - Rangers - RETURN TO STARTING XI?
