Rangers have wasted no time in building their squad for the upcoming season, with five players already through the door at Ibrox as the club begins a new era under head coach Derek McInnes.
After a disappointing third-place finish in the Scottish Premiership last season, the Glasgow giants are determined to get their summer recruitment right this term, as they aim to return to their former glories and topple rivals Celtic and Hearts, who both finished above them last term.
Having ended the season with four defeats in five, former boss Danny Rohl opted to depart the club to move closer to home, agreeing a deal to become Red Bull Salzburg’s new manager in the Austrian Bundesliga, which allowed McInnes to step into the breach after his impressive stint in charge of Hearts last term. But which players will he view as part of the club’s future - and which does he not?
With movement anticipated during the summer transfer window, The Scotsman take a look at the 15 players who could leave Rangers this summer.

13. Clinton Nsiala
Signed on a pre-contract from AC Milan two summers ago, the centre-half has struggled to make an impression at Ibrox and was shipped off to Westerlo on loan in January. The French defender featured just three times in Belgium, and was sent off on his final appearance, so is back at Ibrox for pre-season training. Surplus to requirements, he's a likely departure if a suitable offer comes in for him before the deadline. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group

14. Youssef Chermiti
Rangers are adamant they don't want to sell the Portuguese striker, according reports. However, several clubs on the continent have been linked with a move for striker, meaning a summer move can't be completely ruled out. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group

15. John Souttar
The Scotland international penned a one year extension to his contract in February, but is understood be on the verge of an exit from the club, with the long-serving defender not a part of Derek McInnes' plans. | SNS Group
