Rangers have wasted no time in building their squad for the upcoming season, with five players already through the door at Ibrox as the club begins a new era under head coach Derek McInnes.
After a disappointing third-place finish in the Scottish Premiership last season, the Glasgow giants are determined to get their summer recruitment right this term, as they aim to return to their former glories and topple rivals Celtic and Hearts, who both finished above them last term.
Having ended the season with four defeats in five, former boss Danny Rohl opted to depart the club to move closer to home, agreeing a deal to become Red Bull Salzburg’s new manager in the Austrian Bundesliga, which allowed McInnes to step into the breach after his impressive stint in charge of Hearts last term. But which players will he view as part of the club’s future - and which does he not?
With movement anticipated during the summer transfer window, The Scotsman take a look at the 15 players who could leave Rangers this summer.

1. Thelo Aasgaard
Currently away with Norway at the World Cup, it is reported that new Rangers boss Derek McInnes is keen to work with the playmaker, who is under contract until 2029 at Ibrox. However, an inconsistent debut season at Ibrox has seen him linked with moves to Atalanta, and a big bid could move the goalposts on his future at the club. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images

2. Nedim Bajrami
It just hasn't really worked for the Albanian international since his £3.4million move to Rangers in the summer of 2024. He's shown flashes of quality, but has been largely reduced to a bit part role under a succession of managers. His future at Ibrox is uncertain going into the new campaign. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group

3. Djeidi Gassama
Signed for a fee of around £2.2million from Sheffield Wednesday, the French winger had an impressive start to life at Rangers but tailed off as the season wore on. While the club are not actively looking to move him on, he had plenty of interest in his services from the continent in January, so a move can't be ruled out at this current juncture. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group

4. Oliver Antman
The Finland international had a disappointing debut season at Ibrox, where he struggled for form and fitness. Highly rated upon his arrival from Go Ahead Eagles, there were murmurs of a return to the Eredivisie during the winter transfer window and they could return this summer, with his future uncertain. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group
