Rangers’ new era under head coach Derek McInnes has started in exciting fashion, with the club adding several new faces to the squad in the opening fortnight of the transfer window.
Adding Scotland internationals Lawrence Shankland and Ross McCrorie to the squad last month, the Gers boss has welcomed Ben Godfrey, Dan Neil and Ivor Pandur in recent days as he looks to return the club to its former glories and challenge for the Scottish Premiership title once again.
After last season’s third-place finish, though, the 54-year-old still has plenty of work to do, and you can bet the club aren’t finished when it comes to incomings.
But which players are facing an uncertain few months ahead? Which players have entered the final year of their contract - and which of them could leave the club next summer?
Here are all 7 players set to see their Rangers contracts expire in summer 2027:

1. Josh Gentles
The 18-year-old winger spent time with the Rangers first-team during last summer's pre-season schedule, before moving on loan to Raith Rovers and Alloa Athletic. 2. John Souttar
The Scotland international penned a one-year extension to his contract earlier this year. He dropped out of the starting XI at the back end of the season though, and is now about to enter the final year of his deal in Govan. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group

3. Jose Cifuentes
Remember him? A transfer misstep by former head coach Michael Beale, the Ecuadorian midfielder has spent more time away from Rangers on loan than in their first team. Toronto FC rejected their option to buy, maybe Cifuentes will return to Ibrox this summer, with 12 months still left on his current deal with the club. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group

4. Ross McCausland
Back at Ibrox after a season on loan to Aris Limassol, the academy product has signalled a desire to fight for his place at Rangers, but is out of contract with the club in 12 months. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group
