Rangers bring down the curtain on their disappointing Europa League campaign with a trip to Portuguese giants Porto at the Estadio do Dragao on Thursday night (kick-off: 8pm).
Danny Rohl’s side picked up their first win of their Europa League campaign when they defeated Ludogorets 1-0 at Ibrox last week. However, having failed to win any of their opening six games in the competition, they head to Portugal for their final league-phase game already knowing they have been eliminated.
As for their hosts, Francesco Farioli’s side have already secured at least a playoff spot, but will be hoping they can achieve a top eight spot and automatic qualification to the last 16 with a win over Rangers on Thursday night. Currently in ninth, they trail Real Betis on goal difference and will hope to leapfrog on matchday eight of the competition.
