'Outstanding' Rangers loanee lands awards night quadruple as manager reveals plan for Ibrox talks
20y/o has been a standout in the Scottish Championship
Raith Rovers are desperate to keep hold of Rangers loan star Paul Nsio after the youngster was honoured with four awards at the club's annual trophy presentation.
Birmingham-born Nsio signed a new two-year contract with the Ibrox club in September before joining Raith on loan for the rest of the season in the Scottish Championship.
The midfielder, who turned 20 in March, has been a standout at Stark's Park, making 24 appearances and scoring two goals as he helped the Kirkcaldy club to a fifth place finish and win the Challenge Cup.
Nsio's contribution was recognised at Rovers' awards night as he scooped four prizes including Young Player of the Year, Supporters' Bus Player of the Year, Best Individual Performance and the Malcolm Szpera Award for Endeavour.
Raith manager Dougie Imrie now plans talks with Rangers bosses in an attempt to secure Nsio on another season-long loan.

"Yeah, I would like to get him back," Imrie said. "It'll be up to Rangers to see the progression for Paul. But I think with his age and just having really six months of men's football, I think the ideal scenario would be for him to come back here and maybe get another 40 games under his belt.
"That's a discussion for ourselves and Rangers to have and see. Hopefully we can get something done for Paul because the last three months he's been outstanding."
Raith are planning to overhaul their squad this summer after missing out on the promotion play-offs with a number of players out of contract. Defender Darragh O'Connor has already confirmed his departure while the SPFL's top scorer John Robertson has signed a pre-contract to join from East Kilbride after scoring 32 goals for the League Two title winners.
Imrie added: "There's a lot of work to be done. We need to pick and choose over the summer the players we want. I've already identified players that I want. Some pre-contracts are done. Hopefully they'll be announced this week.
"It was important we gave respect to the clubs that these players are still at because they still had big games to play. I'm looking forward to the season next year. It'll be my own team. And then hopefully we can kick on and have a successful season."
