Rangers head coach Danny Rohl will be delighted with the work his club have done in the January transfer window so far, but as the deadline approaches, the German is still in the market for more.
Arriving at the club in late October following Russell Martin’s disastrous spell in charge of the club, the 36-year-old has taken Rangers to within four points of the Scottish Premiership summit, and will hope to leapfrog league leaders Hearts in the coming months.
Can he do it? Only time will tell, though it is clear he feels the squad still needs some strengthening before the window shuts on February 2. But what would Rohl’s Rangers team look like if the most recent transfer rumours turn out to be true?
Here, The Scotsman assess what Rangers' starting XI could look like if the recent transfer rumours are true - though, with the amount of twists and turns expected in the summer transfer window, nothing is guaranteed.

9. RW: Andreas Skov Olsen
One of the most sought after wingers in Europe just a year ago, a sticky season in the Bundesliga with Wolfsburg handed Rangers an opportunity to bring him in on loan until the end of the campaign. While he'll be pushed hard by Gassama, the 26-year-old is likely to be first choice on the right wing. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images

10. LW: Mikey Moore
The teenage loan star has produced some strong performances since the turn of the year, and has grown into a real fan favourite. On loan until the summer, he'll hope to provide the spark that sees Rangers topple Hearts at the top of the Scottish Premiership. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images

11. CF: Ryan Naderi/Joel Piroe
Rangers are extremely keen on Hansa Rostock forward Naderi, who has bagged eight goals in 11 starts this season for the German outfit. However, should they fail to land the hitman, rumours say they have targeted a loan deal for either Leeds United's Joel Piroe, or Southampton's Cameron Archer. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images
