What TV channel is Napoli v Bologna? How to watch McTominay v Ferguson in Supercoppa Italiana final
Scotland duo compete for silverware in Saudi Arabia
There will be Scottish hands on Italian silverware in Saudi Arabia on Monday evening as Napoli take on Bologna in the final of the Supercoppa Italiana.
The annual competition between the four clubs who finished winners and runners-up of the previous season’s Serie A and the Coppa Italia is being staged at the King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh.
Scott McTominay helped Napoli into the final by playing the full 90 minutes in the 2-0 victory over AC Milan in Thursday’s semi-final. The Scotland hero was involved in a bust-up with England defender Fikayo Tomori late in the game that resulted in both players receiving a booking.
Meanwhile, Lewis Ferguson came off the bench to help Bologna over the line in their semi-final win over Inter Milan on Friday. The Scotland midfielder was introduced in the 75th minute as the match finished 1-1 before going straight to a penalty shoot-out, where skipper Ferguson netted the opening spot-kick to set Bologna on the path to victory.
There is sure to be plenty of interest among the Tartan Army in Monday’s final as the Scotland duo compete to win the prestigious trophy and add to the winners’ medals picked up last season - McTominay lifting the Serie A title with Napoli and Ferguson captaining Bologna to Coppa Italia glory.
