Scotland World Cup 2026: TV broadcast details confirmed for games with Haiti, Morocco and Brazil
Full TV details as Scotland’s World Cup broadcast schedule is confirmed.
Scotland’s World Cup 2026 group matches will be broadcast on free-to-air television next summer, it has been confirmed.
After sealing qualification to the tournament last month with a 4-2 win over Denmark at Hampden, Steve Clarke’s side will jet off to the United States next June and have been pitted against Haiti, Morocco, and Brazil in Group C of the tournament following last Friday’s draw in Washington, DC.
Having had their recent World Cup qualifying ties broadcast on BBC Scotland and BBC Two, Scotland fans unable to attend the tournament in person will be boosted by confirmation that the three group stage matches at next summer’s tournament will be shared between STV and BBC.

Scotland’s highly-anticipated opening game against Haiti on Saturday, June 13, which will actually kick off at 2am in the early hours of Sunday morning due to the difference in time zones, will air exclusively from Boston, Massachusetts, on the BBC, with the game able to be streamed via the broadcaster’s iPlayer service.
The nation’s crucial second Group C game pits them against World Cup 2022 semi-finalists Morocco, and will air on STV and the STV Player, with the match due to kick off at 11pm UK time. Viewers in England will be able to catch the clash on ITV and ITVX.
However, Scotland’s final group game against Brazil on Sunday, June 23, will see the team return to the BBC as the broadcaster screens the game live from Miami, Florida, with the national team aiming to make the knockout stages of the tournament for the first time in their history. Kick-off is scheduled for 11pm UK time.
“For us it’s fine,” said Scotland boss Clarke following last week’s draw in the United States. “Two games for us in the one location in Boston is good. It eliminates a lot of travel for us. But the timings are difficult for the people back home. It’s maybe good for the adults who can stay up to watch. It’s maybe a little bit more difficult for the kids though. I’m sure a lot of Scottish kids will be sleeping in on the mornings after watching the games.”
BBC will also show England’s second group match against against Ghana on Tuesday, June 23, with ITV/STV set to broadcast England’s other group games against Croatia and Panama on June 17 and June 27 respectively.
STV and BBC will share coverage of the knock-out stages with both channels securing joint rights to broadcast the final on Sunday, July 19.
