Hearts squad underwent serious turnover in the summer, with 13 new first-team players arriving at Tynecastle, and several big-name players departing.
Lawrence Shankland, Alexandros Kyziridis and Alexander Schwolow all left for pastures new, while youngsters Liam McFarlane, MJ Kamson-Kamara and Adam Forrester completed loan exits as they looked for more senior experience.
Replacing former manager Derek McInnes after his move to Rangers in the summer, new head coach Wouter Vrancken endured a difficult start to the season, but has steadied the ship in the recent weeks and will go within two points of league leaders Celtic if they can topple the Glasgow giants at Parkhead next week.
Josh McPake, Calvin Miller and Laurent Mendy have all shone over the opening months of the season, as Hearts look to show they have what it takes to hang at the top of the Scottish Premiership on a permanent basis. But what has happened to those that have left?
Here we look at the 15 Hearts players who moved away from the club before the start of the new campaign, and assess how they have done for their new teams in the opening months of the season. Who has found success away from Tynecastle - and who regrets their decision to leave?

6. Cammy Devlin - Rangers
The Australian made a controversial move to Rangers on a Bosman free transfer in the summer, and so far it hasn't worked out. After not starting a game since early September, Devlin suffered a hamstring injury during the international break that will sideline him for around six weeks. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images

7. Macaulay Tait - St Johnstone
After spending last season on loan to relegated Livingston, he was picked up on a free transfer by St Johnstone upon their return to the top flight. He's been restricted to substitute appearances so far, but picked up an assist his side's 1-1 draw with Dundee last month. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group

8. Alexandros Kyziridis - Corum FK
The Greek winger was a fan favourite at Tynecastle after a number of stand out performances last season, but was allowed to join Turkish side Corum FK for a seven figure fee in the summer. It's a decision Hearts may be beginning to regret - he's scored four goals and assisted three more in just five appearances. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images
