The release of the new home kit for the coming season. It is a cornerstone of a football club's summer, especially with social media. The shirt which the team will wear for the next 10 or so months is unveiled, often with a stylish video or photo shoot, whereby fans passionately offer their opinion. It usually ranges from ‘how can I give the club all my money’ to a torrent of abuse.
We have tasked the man behind AET Shirts and Football Kit Con which is coming to Murrayfield on 30 May, 2021, to provide his opinion on all 12 home kits, rating them out of 10.

9. Aberdeen 8/10
A very clean shirt from Aberdeen with a beautiful collar and cuffs. Red and white just go, and along with the sponsor makes this kit very fresh. Lovely kit from Adidas and the Dons. Photo: SNS Group

10. Celtic 8.5/10
Adidas x Celtic have come together to offer a very nice kit. The green and white hoops are always going to be there but the introduction of the yellow really adds to it. Lovely clean, stylish design that Celtic fans will love. Photo: SNS Group

11. St. Mirren 9/10
Only just missing out on top spot! A very stylish, clean, modern kit from St Mirren that keeps the traditional black & white stripes alive. Kit plays on the badge with the sponsor really adding to this kit. JOMA have produced something brilliant here! Photo: SNS Group - Alan Harvey

12. Motherwell 9.5/10
A stunning design from Motherwell. The collar adding to the shirt and leaving it sponsorless doesn't allow for a sponsor to ruin the kit. Easy winner in the kits for top-flight clubs with Motherwell leading the creative scene. Photo: Mark Scates - SNS Group
