The release of the new home kit for the coming season. It is a cornerstone of a football club's summer, especially with social media. The shirt which the team will wear for the next 10 or so months is unveiled, often with a stylish video or photo shoot, whereby fans passionately offer their opinion. It usually ranges from ‘how can I give the club all my money’ to a torrent of abuse.
We have tasked the man behind AET Shirts and Football Kit Con which is coming to Murrayfield on 30 May, 2021, to provide his opinion on all 12 home kits, rating them out of 10.

5. Kilmarnock 7/10
Hummel x Kilmarnock is definitely a good match. Killie's tradition kept with a little twist. Very clean shirt with the sponsor adding to the kit. Kilmarnock fans should be happy with this! Photo: SNS Group - Rob Casey

6. Rangers 7/10
A debut season with Castore has brought a really modern design to Rangers. Traditional shirt with some very nice pattern throughout. One of the many shirts ruined by a betting sponsor but very nice effort. Photo: SNS Group

7. Ross County 7.5/10
Macron x Ross County looks to be a very nice partnership. The pattern through the shirt is a little away from the norm and the white trim keeps in line with the sponsor. Subtle red in the collar goes with the club badge and really adds to the kit. Photo: Craig Foy - SNS Group

8. Hibs 7.5/10
A fresh Hibs kit that is very modern and simple with the cuffs matching the badge to great effect. Trendsetters in supporting the NHS and the logo message really making it a great match. Photo: SNS Group - Rob Casey
