What channel is Sporting CP v Celtic on? TV, live stream details for pre-season friendly
Full details ahead of the pre-season clash between Sporting CP and Celtic in Portugal.
Celtic ramp up their pre-season preparations with a visit to the Algarve to face Portuguese giants Sporting CP this Tuesday night.
Fresh off the back of the 1-1 draw with Shelbourne in Dublin last week, Martin O’Neill’s men have jetted off to Europe for a clash with Rui Borges’ men, though the Scottish champions could be without new summer signing Camilo Duran due to illness.
Speaking ahead of the game, the 74-year-old boss admitted the Colombian striker had missed training on Monday, but has been happy overall with training ahead of the game, saying: “The players have done really well. We're down to one session now, but the double sessions have been great, and hopefully, it'll stand them in good stead for the rest of the season.
"There are things that we can definitely improve on – we should be able to do that for a start – and there are things that we did reasonably well last season as well. So, it's a matter of combining both, I think, as much as anything else."
Following the clash in the Algarve, Celtic will return to the east end of Glasgow for a match with EFL Championship side Middlesbrough on July 18. They then welcome Serie A giants AC Milan to Parkhead on July 25.
