Celtic’s pre-season tour of the United States continues this week with a glamour friendly against English Premier League champions Manchester City.
Brendan Rodgers’ side enjoyed a comfortable 4-0 win over MLS outfit DC United at the weekend but will now step preparations for the season with a tough test against Pep Guardiola's star studded team in North Carolina. where they will clash at the Kenan Memorial Stadium. Kick off is scheduled for 12:30am UK time.
While Celtic and Manchester City have not seen a player transfer between clubs since 2015, it is hard to questions the surprising success rate of many players that have turned out for the Hoops having previously represented Manchester City. Oddly, almost all of them have been huge successes in Glasgow.
Here are all 12 players to have played for both Celtic and Manchester City - including one cult hero and an invincible defender.

9. Scott Sinclair
One of Brendan Rodgers' first signings at Celtic, Sinclair was a huge hit in his debut campaign. He won the PFA, SWFA and Celtic player of the year award for 2016/2017 and won an impressive eight trophies during three seasons with the Hoops before leaving for Preston North End. 10. Craig Bellamy
Bellamy was a huge success at Celtic, where he spent six month on loan from Newcastle United. He scored seven goals in 12 games at Celtic Park as the club won the Scottish Cup but was sadly unable to be convinced to return to Glasgow. He left the Magpies in a big money move to sign for Blackburn Rovers that summer before seeing his career blossom in his later years. Featured heavily for both Manchester City and Liverpool, he ended his career with boyhood club Cardiff City, where he helped them win the EFL Championship in 2013. Most recently, he left his role as assistant manager with Burnley to become the new head coach of Wales. | Getty Images

11. Gerry Creaney
The Coatbridge born striker began his career with Celtic in 1987, where he scored 36 league goals for the club before leaving for Portsmouth. He would then sign for EPL side Manchester City in a move that included fellow striker Paul Walsh going the opposite way. Sadly for Creaney, his spell in the English top tier was not successful and he was soon shipped off on loan to several teams before he moved back to Scotland with St Mirren. Now retired, he has spent time as manager at Bellshill Athletic and was Head of Youth Development at Dundee. Despite being a qualified accountant, he is currently working as a scout. | Getty Images

12. Kasper Schmeichel
