Celtic’s pre-season tour of the United States continues this week with a glamour friendly against English Premier League champions Manchester City.
Brendan Rodgers’ side enjoyed a comfortable 4-0 win over MLS outfit DC United at the weekend but will now step preparations for the season with a tough test against Pep Guardiola's star studded team in North Carolina. where they will clash at the Kenan Memorial Stadium. Kick off is scheduled for 12:30am UK time.
While Celtic and Manchester City have not seen a player transfer between clubs since 2015, it is hard to questions the surprising success rate of many players that have turned out for the Hoops having previously represented Manchester City. Oddly, almost all of them have been huge successes in Glasgow.
Here are all 12 players to have played for both Celtic and Manchester City - including one cult hero and an invincible defender.

5. Chris Killen
The New Zealand striker started his career at Manchester City but featured just three times at the Etihad before leaving to join Oldham Athletic and, latterly, Hibs. Signed by Celtic in 2007, Killen struggled for form and scored just two league goals before leaving to sign for Gordon Strachan at Middlesbrough a few seasons later. 6. Joe Hart
One of British football's most decorated goalkeepers, Hart won numerous titles with both Celtic and Manchester City. A four time winner of the EPL golden glove, the 37-year-old retired earlier this summer after a dramatic 1-0 win over Rangers in the Scottish Cup final. 7. Giorgos Samaras
A Celtic cult-hero, the Greek forward joined the club following an ill-fated spell at Manchester City that saw him score just eight goals in two and a half seasons. He had a far more successful time in Glasgow, winning five league titles, two Scottish Cups and one Scottish League Cup over his seven seasons with Celtic.
