Celtic’s season has been one of their most turbulent in recent memory and has left the defending champions clinging to their Scottish Premiership crown.
Currently trailing league leaders Hearts by five points, a campaign of tumult in the dugout saw Brendan Rodgers walk out on the club in October, before Wilfried Nancy was sacked in January after an ill-fated 33-day spell in charge. In between, veteran manager Martin O’Neill has taken the reins on an interim basis and will remain in the post until the end of the season.
The 74-year-old is almost certain to step aside in the summer, though, with the Celtic board tasked with finding a new head coach who will lead them into a new era. Alongside appointing a new manager, the club are expected to perform an overhaul on their playing squad as they aim to return to their dominant best in the seasons ahead.
With movement anticipated in the summer transfer window, The Scotsman take a look at the 17 players who could leave Celtic at the end of the season:

13. Stephen Welsh
A standout performer for Motherwell after joining them on loan this season, the Scottish defender has proven he is worthy of regular first team football. If the Fir Park outfit don't look to make his move a permanent one, someone else will surely snap him up after a strong campaign under Jens Berthel Askou. | SNS Group

14. Marcelo Saracchi
Another who joined the club on loan in the summer, Saracchi has proven to be strong competition for first-choice left-back Kieran Tierney, and Martin O'Neill has already urged the club to make the deal a permanent one. However, with no deal yet confirmed, he is set to return to Boca Juniors in the summer. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group

15. Junior Adamu
One of Celtic's many deadline day loan arrivals, the Austrian scored a last-minute equaliser on his debut for the club in a Scottish Cup win over Dundee. He's flattered to deceive since then, though, and found himself dragged off at half-time during the 2-2 draw with Rangers earlier this month. 16. Benjamin Arthur
The on-loan defender has impressed after breaking into the first team earlier this month. A deadline day signing to bolster Celtic's central defensive options, he is under contract until 2031 at Brentford, and has no permanent option included in his deal. Arthur is expected to return to the Gtech Stadium in the summer, having gotten valuable first-team exposure in Glasgow. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group
