All the Westminster politicians visiting Scotland today, Keir Starmer, Nigel Farage, Kemi Badenoch

Several Westminster politicians are due to descend on Scotland today.

Several Westminster politicians are due to descend on Scotland today, including Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and Reform UK leader Nigel Farage.

This comes with just over 100 days to go until the Scottish Parliament election on May 7.

The most recent polling suggests the SNP will remain the largest party in Scotland on 61 seats, but will fall short of the 65-seat majority First Minister John Swinney has his eyes on.

However there is a battle on for second place, with polling suggesting that Reform UK and Scottish Labour are neck-and-neck to become the official opposition.

Take a look at all the Westminster politicians making the trip to Scotland today.

Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer will be in Scotland this morning and is due to make broadcast interviews.

This comes just days after Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar tried to distance himself from Sir Keir, and admitted the Prime Minister is hampering his party’s chances at the Holyrood election.

A new poll by Survation suggests that almost half of voters said the performance of the UK Labour government in Westminster would make them less likely to vote Scottish Labour in May.

Nigel Farage

The Reform UK leader will be in Kirkcaldy to announce the leader of the party in Scotland.

This is the second time in just over a month that Mr Farage will be north of the border, as his party continues to surge in the Holyrood polls.

He has just annouced former Conservative peer Lord Malcolm Offord as the Scottish leader. Lord Offord served in the Scotland Office under a number of Conservative prime ministers but gave up his peerage and defected to Reform UK last month.

During her visit she is expected to criticise the SNP Scottish Government’s budget, particularly on the growing welfare bill and the increases to overseas aid.

She is also expected to meet the nurse Sandie Peggie during her visit to Scotland. Ms Peggie is currently appealing an employment tribunal surrounding a trans doctor’s use of the female changing rooms at Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy.
