Edinburgh’s world famous Hogmanay party lit up the skies last night, as people from all over the world came together to share the moment.
The Capital welcomes thousands of people from every corner of the world to spend the night partying, dancing and watching a breath-taking firework display.
Organisers expected over 40,000 to turn out for the party – a similar number to those who had to make last-minute alternative arrangements last year, when the event was cancelled because of bad weather.
The Concert in the Gardens was headlined by indie rock band Wet Leg, supported by Scottish acts Hamish Hawk and Lucia & The Best Boys .
The firework display was a phenomenal six minute show that left party-goers in awe.
Here are pictures from the night, capturing the magic and hope from Hogmanay 2025.
