Here’s the subscriptions you need to catch up with Outlander as the series - and epic romance of Claire and Jamie Fraser - comes to an end.

A love story which spans across the centuries, the final season of Outlander will soon begin streaming.

First debuting on screens back in 2014, the time travelling romance drama starring Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan has left a lasting impression on its many, many fans around the world.

With the eighth season soon to begin streaming in the UK, those looking to catch up or rewatch the show ahead of it its conclusion will be looking for ways to tune in.

Here’s everything you need to know about where to watch Outlander in the UK.

Where to watch all episodes of Outlander in the UK

While Outlander has been available to stream on various platforms in the past, in the UK the show is currently exclusive to MGM+.

A smaller platform than giants such as Netflix, MGM+ is available as an add on for Amazon Prime Video and was formerly known as Epix.

There is a seven-day free trial for the streaming service, which will then cost £5.99 per month. That will be on top of your Prime subscription fee, which will cost either £8.99 per month.

That means that you will be paying £14.98 per month to watch titles - including Outlander - on MGM+, especially as episodes of Outlander season eight will be released weekly.

What is Outlander about?

Outlander is a historical fantasy series which is based on Diana Gabaldon’s book series of the same name, which is heavy on the drama, adventure and romance.

It follows Claire Randall, a former World War II military nurse who finds herself transported to 1743 while on holiday in Scotland in 1943. There, she meets and marries Jamie Fraser, a Highland warrior of Clan Fraser of Lovat.

How many series of Outlander are there?

There are currently seven full seasons of Outlander available to stream, with season eight - the final season - due to be released weekly.

However, there is also Outlander: Blood of My Blood, a prequel series to the show which is available to stream on MGM+, which has a second season already on the way.
