Claudia Winkleman is back conducting a new cohort of celebrities into her carefully crafted chaos in the Traitors castle.
Set in Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands, the picturesque location serves as the backdrop for the series two of The Celebrity Traitors, the hit BBC competition show.
The second celebrity edition of the series, there are three Traitors loose among this year’s stars. Winkleman selected Maya Jama and Richard E. Grant during episode one, and the pair ended up recruiting James Acaster to their cause.
However in a UK series first, the group voted to banish Grant after he openly declared that he was a Traitor. Following the round table which revealed his allegiance, Hannah Fry was dramatically seduced by Jama and Acaster - though her time as a Traitor was short-lived. After Fry was rumbled by the Faithful, the Traitors recruited King Kenny to their cause.
There are only a few episodes remaining, but there is still plenty of murder and mayhem happening in the castle.
From the Traitors and the Faithful to the banished and the dead, here are is the full Celebrity Traitors series 2 cast
5. DEAD: Ross Kemp — Faithful
Ross Kemp’s hilarious (and in his own words, “pathetic”) paranoia couldn’t keep him safe from murder in plain sight, during episode seven. To successfully murder the so-called “professional” hard nut, the Traitors had to bore a Faithful to death and make them yawn. The actor and documentarian unfortunately couldn’t stop his yawn despite revealing that he suspected both James Acaster and Maya Jama on The Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked. | BBC/Studio Lambert/Cody Burridge/BBC Creative
6. BANISHED: Professor Hannah Fry — Traitor
After Grant’s banishment, Professor Hannah Fry was given the choice to accept her own murder or to live on as a Traitor. Despite telling Claudia that she wished to be a Faithful, and only a Faithful, Fry decided to stay alive. Unable to escape suspicion she was banished during episode five — with her fellow Traitors turning on her. | BBC/Studio Lambert/Cody Burridge/BBC Creative
7. DEAD: Rob Beckett — Faithful
After the Traitors selected four Faithful to play a deadly game of hide-and-seek, Rob Beckett was murdered by Acaster, Jama and Fry face to face. He was killed over Ross Kemp, Romesh Ranganathan and Leigh-Anne Pinnock. He shared his hopes that his close friend Ranganathan will avenge him. | BBC/Studio Lambert/Cody Burridge/BBC Creative
8. BANISHED: Julie Hesmondhalgh — Faithful
Despite being initially named the most trustworthy contestant at the start of The Celebrity Traitors series 2, Julie Hesmondhalgh’s strong opinions — and her lack of willingness to share them — saw her singled out at the round table. Despite Fry’s name also being mentioned, in the end the actress was the one to be banished by the group. | BBC/Studio Lambert/Cody Burridge/BBC Creative
