Fans of BBC series can rent out Scottish hostels for 'Traitors package'
Groups can hire an entire hostel to play their own version of The Traitors
It is the hit TV show filmed in a Scottish castle and hosted by Claudia Winkleman, where players have to work out who is faithful and who is secretly murdering other contestants.
Now Hostelling Scotland is giving groups the chance to create their own version of The Traitors by hiring an entire Scottish hostel - complete with accessories and costumes.
The charity's new Turret Experience is available through its Rentahostel initiative, which allows groups to take over selected youth hostels for their exclusive use.
The package includes cloaks for designated Traitors, tartan shawls, shields, chalkboards, picture frames, a Traitors board game, and a Claudia Winkleman-inspired wig, giving groups the props to organise their own game of secret roles, round-table discussions and banishments.
The latest series finale of The Celebrity Traitors, which saw Faithfuls Romesh Ranganathan and Sebastian Croft emerge victorious, attracted an average of 11.23 million live viewers, making it the most-watched episode of the celebrity spin-off to date. Other contestants included Ross Kemp, Richard E Grant, and James Blunt, as well as Michael Sheen, Bella Ramsey and Scottish actress Sharon Rooney.
Filmed at Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands, the series has once again brought the country's dramatic landscapes to a huge national audience.

Margo Paterson, chief executive of Hostelling Scotland, said: “It's been fantastic to see audiences across the country captivated by the Scottish Highlands through The Traitors, and the incredible locations that have provided the backdrop to the series. We wanted to give people the chance to experience that for themselves, with our own take on the show.
“Hiring an entire castle isn't realistic for most groups, but through Rentahostel it's possible to enjoy the same dramatic Highland setting without the huge price tag. It's a chance to bring friends and family together somewhere special, with the Turret Package adding a little Traitors-inspired drama to the weekend.”
Available locations include Rowardennan Lodge on the eastern shores of Loch Lomond, Braemar, Cairngorm Lodge, Ratagan on the banks of Loch Duich and Torridon on the NC500 - which costs from £1,180 for two nights for 53 guests. The properties sleep between 37 and 69 guests, offering options for everything from smaller groups to larger gatherings.
Other Traitors spin offs have been hosted at venues in East Lothian, including at Gilmerton House which holds a Traitors themed event called The Grand Deception, while Stirling Distillery last year held event the Deceivers – billed as a “live Traitors-style immersive game night”.
Last year, it emerged The Traitors is to be turned into a West End show by the production company behind Hamnet. The play is to follow the story of a group of faithfuls who try to root out the traitors in their ranks. Written by John Finnemore, known for TV's Good Omens and radio series Cabin Pressure, it will be performed in an as-yet unnamed London theatre.
The Hostelling Scotland Turret Package is available on request when booking selected Rentahostel properties for exclusive stays between November 2026 and March 2027.
