The Cure Edinburgh Royal Highland Showgrounds Stage Times: Summer Sessions set times, support, setlist, weather forecast, tickets

The Cure are set to return to Edinburgh for the first time since 1992 - here’s everything you need to know about the gig
The 34-year wait to see The Cure perform in Edinburgh is almost over - and the fans are getting rather excited about the band's appearance at the Royal Highland Showgrounds.
The goth-pop legends headline an Edinburgh Summer Sessions event this Sunday (August 23), with support from special guests Mogwai, Slowdive and Just Mustard.
Over the summer, The Cure has played a series of massive gigs across Europe, earning glowing five-star reviews in every city they played in.

The Robert Smith-fronted band, who biggest hits include The Lovecats, Just Like Heaven and Friday I’m In Love, formed in Crawley, Sussex, playing their first show in 1978. Since then, The Cure have performed close to 1,800 gigs to date over a career spanning almost five decades.
They have released 14 studio albums, over 40 singles and have been a profound influence on contemporary music, their legacy cemented in 2019 with induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Last year saw the release of Mixes Of A Lost World, a triple album reimagining the hugely successful 2024 Cure album Songs Of A Lost World. Curated by frontman Smith and featuring contributions from artists such as Orbital, Paul Oakenfold and Four Tet, all Cure royalties benefitted War Child UK.
